Grown with Purpose

At Fantasy Farms, we believe well-grown flowers are the result of care, experience, and the people behind every stem.

Behind Every Stem, a Philosophy

Charles Galindo, who manages Índigo Farms as part of our ecosystem, says it better than we could: I love that I can give back to society, to my country.” That sentence is, for us, the clearest way to explain what drives how we work.

Charles has been an agronomist since 1991. He leads a team of 250 people who, in his words, “have literally become a family” — and that’s not a figure of speech. In an industry built on human hands, the way you treat the people who grow your product determines the quality of what comes out the other end.

Sustainability as daily practice, not marketing

Taking care of the land and the people who work it has always been part of how we do things at Índigo Farms. Close to 60% of our plant health inputs come from organic sources or plant extracts — a choice that shows up in the health of the soil, in the quality of the flower, and in the day-to-day reality of the people harvesting it. The certifications we carry reflect that. They’re the result of years of consistent practice, not the other way around.

Precision where it counts

Colombian export floriculture is a patient discipline. Each variety follows its own growth cycle, and every seasonal decision — down to placing a white mesh over a plant to bring a rose head from 5 to nearly 6 centimeters — is the result of years of accumulated knowledge. For Valentine’s season, we work with varieties like Satina and Hayan Magic on 77–78 day cycles. That level of care is what allows our flowers to arrive in the United States and hold their own against the best in the world.
